Your interest in TERRAP (a contraction for territorial apprehensiveness) can be the beginning of your recovery from anxiety and panic disorder. The condition is treatable and the TERRAP method works. Developed over forty years ago by Arthur B. Hardy M.D., TERRAP has become the dominant national program specializing in the treatment of territorial, social and generalized anxieties. Dr. Hardy was the past president of Anxiety Disorders Association of America and has been featured on Sixty Minutes,20/20 and many other TV and radio shows.
We have been in Texas and Louisiana since 1981.
Statistically, there is a very high recovery rate with all participants showing improvement. TERRAP is a cognitive - behavioral program that utilizes a manual and desensitization techniques taught by licensed professionals.
The TERRAP Program
Offers a customized format and flexibility as you work one-on-one with a licensed psychotherapist who has been specifically trained in the TERRAP technique. Sessions are usually one or two hours per week.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO BENEFIT FROM TERRAP
Intensive Outpatient Program
Designed for those who live outside of the Houston area or those who wish to complete the program more rapidly, sessions are conducted 3-4 hours per day for approximately ten days. Client will work with a pre-assigned therapist to achieve his/her goals. Housing can be arranged.
TERRAP by Telephone
After the initial phone intake with the Director or the Administrator, a therapist is assigned to work with the client by telephone. Materials are mailed to the client prior to telephone sessions.
Telephone Counseling
For those who wish to deal with personal concerns, work relationships, improved focus, overcoming inhibitions, progressing more rapidly, etc.
